After having spent half a year in Montreal I suddenly, just now tonight, got an intense craving for meat patties and boiled potatoes, så I sprang out of the comfy chair and jogged over to the supermarket, where I proceeded to purchase various raw materials (potatoes, mini-hamburgers and vegetable oil). I've never boiled potatoes before, but how hard could it be? I thought. Thus:

(Didn't bother to peel the potatoes before boiling them.)

Result: The potatoes were boiled, the mini-hamburgers fried, and it tasted. Something.
Other than that? Still haven't learned French, have found a store selling brown cheese produced by Tine (in Norway), the people at McDonalds across the street from work are finally beginning to realize that a hamburger WITHOUT CHEESE actually means that they should not put cheese on it, have managed to transfer money home to Norway to make the payment on my student loan, and looks like I'm getting visitors from Norway around Easter-time!
That's all I have for now.
See ya!
